In every aspect of a dream there comes the reality of seeing a vision and either discarding it as a meaningless animation of thoughts or a real sense of purpose. Those that define dreams as a real sense of purpose tend to put a lot more stake behind interpreting what a dream is really meant to be. Ideally a person can take the pessimistic approach of fear of something not-so-great becoming of the dream. However, the most ambitious and successful tend to extract the positives of a dream and actually plan a realistic course around it. Dreams are much more than just the subliminal or the unconscious thoughts. Dreams are indeed the aspirations of the conscious thoughts. It is the conscious thoughts that evolve into the things we tend to dwell on in our unconscious state. Many will agree to disagree on whether the things we dream about are simply what we believe. In many of our discussions of “Preparing for Success“, we talk about about success from a professional perspective. Success is much more than simply career advancement, but our ability to successfully overcome our challenges in life. Isn’t this indeed part of our dream, to successfully overcome obstacles?
Our approach to motivation each day is understanding and belief that “I am the reflection of the Dream“. Our dreams are based on simple things wrapped in complex packages. Our ability to unwrap the challenges that overlap our dreams signify how we deal with our dreams. Some of us tend to try to peel back complexity without looking for a seam in the wrap, therefore making it harder and harder to reach our dream. The seam in this analogy is simply the breaks in life that we get all the time but we tend to overlook them. Many of us pray at night for blessings and sometimes fail to pray for identifying blessings. It’s our spiritual belief that says that we receive blessings daily, hourly, and by the minute. It’s our ability to identify with a blessing, and respond to it. In essence our ability to realize our dream becomes largely about identification; What we can see, and how we can counter-respond.
As we reflect on this day, those that paved the way for this day, and the outcomes of history, lets remember that discovering our individual dreams is what led to the big dream.
